Latest News: 02 April 2007: Technicon 24 Over! Technicon 24 is over, and, from what we can see, was a resounding success. Check out our Comment Form to tell us what you thought. We'll try to address any issues we can, and we just like to hear what folks thought of the con, so we can try and make Technicon 25 even better. Note: The Technicon 25 site will replace this one in the near future. The comment form will remain. 28 March 2007: Pre-Reg Problems? Worry not! Haven't gotten your email about paying for pre-reg by credit card? Fear not, while the email may have been lost to the ether, we have you in our database. Show up at the Con with ID and a means of payment, and we'll handle it then. 26 March 2007: The Con Marches Boldly Forward! Technicon marches boldly forward, mostly because time is poking it with a pointy stick. Show at the Holiday Inn - University Blacksburg on 30 March 2007 for a weekend of fun! 16 March 2007: Pre-Registration closed! Pre-registration is now closed. We hope to see you at the con. Note to folks who wish to volunteer: We're still looking for volunteers, please email volunteers@technicon.org, and we'll be happy to set you up. 28 Feb 2007: Stealth Updates! We've been adding more content to the site over the last week, and only just remembered to tell anyone about it. Our guests page is up-to-date, and now includes more authors, webcomics, fan filmmakers, and even a comedy group! Go check it out at the Guests Page! Even more, we have more detail as to what sort of gaming we offer, so check out our Gaming Page if that's what you seek. Reminder, Pre-reg deadline is 09 March 2007, and if you're still considering a hotel room, we're running very low on those, so head on over to our hotel page for info on how to reserve with the group rate. 10 Feb 2007: More Updates! As you can see on the left side of this page, we're cooking along in getting the website updated and up-to-snuff. Take a look around, and if you have any questions, don't be afraid to contact us! 01 Feb 2007: Updates! By now, you've either noticed our shiny new banner at the top of the page, or you don't have flash on. Many thanks to David Mattingly, our Artist Guest of Honor for that. Additionally, Dealer's Room Information is now available, so head on over there if you're interested in a table. Additionally, we now have our Gaming Page up. Currently, it just has information on the Vile LARP: Space Pirates!, but check back later for more information. 18 Jan 2007: Art Show Information. The Art Show Page is up. The Pre-Registration date (General, not early) has been moved from Wednesday, 07 March 2007 to Friday, 09 March 2007. Also, the guests page has been updated to reflect all of the guests we currently have confirmed. 01 Oct 2006: Hotel Information Updated! The hotel page has been updated! Technicon 24 will be held at the Holiday Inn: University - Blacksburg, just off of the Virginia Tech Campus.
