Latest News: 31 March 2008: Technicon 25 is complete! Thank you all for attending Technicon 25 and making it an excellent event. If you have anything you'd like to pass on to us, feel free to drop us a line on our Comment Form to let us know what you think. 24 March 2008: Programming Schedule is up! Still curious about what you'll be doing with your time at Technicon? Fear not, our programming schedule is now up! See the Schedule page for details. 23 March 2008: Registration concerns? Fear not! If you're concerned you've not heard anything about your pre-registration, fear not! We've been having some issues with our process, but if you sent it to us in time, we have it. If you registered online, we also have it. So, if you pre-reged, fear not, we got it and you'll get a badge at the door. If there were problems with it, we can handle it at the door, and you'll still only pay the pre-reg price. 25 February 2008: Online Registration! Pre-register for Technicon 25 online at our registration page! 08 February 2008: A quick hotel reminder A few folks have contacted us saying they're having difficulty booking a room at the Microtel. At last report, they had a number of rooms left, but you absolutely must ask for the 'Technicon Room Block' right off when you're booking their room, or they will check their unblocked rooms and tell you they're out. For more information, check the Hotels Page. 28 January 2008: Technicon 25: Hotel and Facility Update Just a note to folks, the vast majority of Technicon 25 programming will be held in a facility separate from the con hotel. The programming facility will be McBryde Hall, on the Virginia Tech campus, whereas the con hotel will be the Microtel Inn & Suites, in Christiansburg. Keep this in mind as you book your hotel rooms. 26 January 2008: More To Come! Not only have their been a few minor site updates, but we'll be adding more information on that hottest of topics, hotels, in the next few days! So check back soon, and we'll have info on where to get your hotel rooms for the con. 17 January 2008: Still Alive! Yes, we're still alive, and we intend to have some more information for you loyal and curious attendees in less than a week. We know you have burning questions, and we're working on getting you answers. First off, the convention will be held on the Virginia Tech campus, which is a bit different than what we've been doing for the last few years. We're working on talking to hotels and setting up room blocks, more information will be posted here when we get it. Stay tuned! Oh! And we've confirmed Ursula Vernon as our Artist Guest of Honor! 08 August 2007: More than updates! Ok, well, it's mostly updates, but as you can see down the left side there, you actually have some pages to browse. To help make the Technicon Experience better, we've posted a comment form to the website.
