Volunteering at Technicon:
Technicon needs a diverse team of individuals to function. This year, we still face a great number of challenges as we come to know this hotel better. To help us through, we need you to volunteer and help make the convention safe and fun for everyone! Volunteers will work in 3 hour shifts throughout the weekend. Anyone who works at least 9 hours (three shifts) for the convention will receive the following benefits:
- Significantly-Reduced Staff-Rate Admission
- Free crash space at the hotel!
- Exclusive opportunities to meet the Guests of Honor
- Thanks and gratitude from the staff
- Another volunteer event & references for your resume!
To volunteer your time, just send an email to volunteers@technicon.org and let us know what times during the con you want to help out. Have a favorite event you want to help run? Just let us know! Not sure where you fit in? Not a problem! We'll train you on anything that needs to be done. Trust us, it's easy! If there's a job at the con you know you hate, just tell us ahead of time, and we'll find one you'll love!
